Estimator: A Perfect Career for Detail-Oriented Engineers

Make your career estimating for Stone Ally, and bring commercial projects to life

At Stone Ally, we are our clients best friend in the stone industry. Estimators work directly with our Founder and CEO, Steve Antisdale. We source the stone they desire from quarries all over the world, fabricate their design vision, and deliver it to the project site on time and in perfect condition. Ideal estimators have three or more years of commercial masonry construction experience on new structures, design-build/development, and renovation.  Project types include but are not limited to Casinos and Hotels, Commercial Real Estate (multi-family and mixed use), government buildings, and luxury real estate.

Required Skills and Background

  • Undergraduate or Tradesman Degree
  • Estimator Software Acumen
  • Able to utilize on screen take-offs in architectural & structural, stone without assistance
  • English speaking and writing skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of the client bid process and client relationship building
  • Vendor Management, procuring quotes on materials and equipment as required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Possess good organizational and management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment (fax, telephones, voice mail, computers, shipping equipment, etc.)

Desired Skills and Background

  • 2 years of project management experience
  • Engineering degree
  • Google Cloud
  • Amazon Cloud
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and Access)

An ideal Office Manager has at least two years of experience providing support to the commercial masonry construction projects, including familiarity with  new structures, design-build/development, and renovation.  Project types include but are not limited to Casinos and Hotels, Commercial Real Estate (multi-family and mixed use), government buildings, and luxury real estate. Great careers can be made in the commercial stone industry.

Required Skills and Background

  •  2 years prior experience in Office Coordination for a variety of duties
  • Knowledgeable of phone systems, voice mail, and having the ability to manage incoming calls therefore must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be highly organized with the ability to problem solve
  • Opening, sorting, and handling delivery instructions and postage for physical mail
  • Data support to our Chief Financial Officer, providing, AR/AP, payroll, data entry of client contact information, invoices, purchase orders & time cards support services
  • Proficient with all standard software including Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook
  • High School Equivalency

Desired Skills and Background

  • At least two years of college experience
  • 2 years construction experience
  • Ability to support marketing officer on campaigns and email communications
